It's pretty much been relegated to Open/TCP-IP status anyway now, while ladder is the closed b.net system of yore where everyone seems to congregate. I ask this community what its thoughts are on the idea of bringing /players to non-ladder specifically. I'm basically playing offline single player, but without the benefit of /players command. I can't find MF games, I can't do XP grinds, I can't do anything effectively anymore. This means what we see today with non-ladder, is the best it will ever be going forward as it will get progressively worse and worse with each season and phase of the game's playerbase.Īs someone who never cared about chasing ladder leaderboards, I feel isolated and exiled playing my non-ladder characters. From what I can gather, when one season ends, another begins immediately in its place. It's impossible to fill games and no one seems to care about gear or actual farming there.

With the release of the first ladder (and the days and weeks leading up to it,) non-ladder has become a ghost town.
